How have your teams been doing this year? Texas is…well…decent. But I’m so sick of that feeling! I feel so lucky to have cheered when Texas was dominant in football. I got to cheer at a BCS National Championship game and other bowl games. I was on college gameday more times that I can count on one hand. I literally got to witness history – more than once. It was the four best years I could have asked for! But DAMN, this program has been so frustrating since I graduated in 2010. I’m ready for a Longhorn offense that’s as exciting as Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley were and a defense that’s as tough as Brian Orakpo. I’m hopeful that Charlie Strong can finish this season out with wins. I’m a little bit afraid for him if we have another bad season. I’ll be rocking my burnt orange no matter what though.
Speaking of burnt orange…
I am obsessed, obsessed, obsessed with this sweater dress. It can be worn on gameday with some cute booties or cowboy boots, it can be worn to the office with some classic pumps, or it can be worn on date night with some sexy thigh high boots, like these that I snagged last week. I especially love the button details all the way down the back. It really elevates a basic sweater dress into a super chic sweater dress. Also, these earrings! Ah, I love them. I bought them in pink a while back and loved how light they are. I can’t wear heavy earrings because my earring holes are already stretched out so much, ugh. These Tory Burch sunnies were a gift from fiancé. He did good, right?! Love this classic Vince Camuto handbag and the gorg Kendra Scott ring and Boweties and Bourbon bracelets, which I’ve become obsessed with. I will for sure be repeating this outfit.

This burnt orange pleated top is also so cute, and this Kendra Scott necklace is the perfect shade. It’s as if she made it for Longhorn girls (it is an Austin-based company, after all!). These flares are the best ever – so comfy and the material is so light and stretchy but doesn’t stretch out. And no, I’m not exaggerating about them being the best ever. I’m a harsh critic when it comes to jeans and these are my go-to’s.
SIDE NOTE: When I discovered FRAME, I didn’t think I’d ever buy another brand, but I bought this pair of Mother jeans (coming to the blog soon!), and I am equally impressed. The fabric isn’t quite as stretchy, but they’re still extremely comfortable. They’re also high waisted, which I love.
