It’s April, which means it’s officially wedding season (this always makes me think of Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in Wedding Crashers – love that movie!). The last few years we’ve had 12 or more weddings to go to – which means 12 or more wedding guest dresses. Dressing for a wedding can be tough…seriously, WTF is dressy casual?? But no need to worry because I got ya covered.  It’s my 2nd favorite part of going to weddings – the first is the cake Ha! What’s your favorite part of a wedding?

I’m obsessed with this hot pink dress, it’s so fun! and I just love all the movement when you’re twirling around and droppin’ it like it’s hot on the dance floor 😉

I also picked out some other great wedding guest dress options for more casual weddings and of course, some great rental options for black tie weddings. I love using Rent the Runway when I need a formal dress.  I usually rent 2 different options, and I ALWAYS read the reviews.  I’m so short (5’2″) that my biggest concern is that the dress will be way too long even with hiiiiiigh heels.  Xo, AL

I remember how I bought the perfect red dress for a wedding I was going to and my husband-to-be didn’t allow me to wear it, because it’s not appropriate to be in such a bold colour.
Then again, it all depends on the wedding dress code. Sometimes the bolder and more colourful, the better ;))

So true, it’s all a matter of taste!! I actually went to a wedding in Mexico in March and everyone was asked to wear something colorful!
