I love the midi skirt trend, but I was a little hesitant to try it out. Since I’m only 5’2″ (rounded up), it’s a bit of a challenge to wear a midi skirt without looking even shorter than I am. But the right proportions will solve this issue, and super high heels never hurt. I wanted to mix a fun midi skirt into my work wardrobe, while still looking professional. It’s more playful than a pencil skirt or a-line skirt so I stuck to a solid color-this one is ivory. But this black floral midi skirt would have been my second choice. I kept the rest of this work outfit pretty simple-a pale pink silk tee and pumps, seen here, Kate Spade watch, and Kendra Scott cuff, both seen here. Xo, AL
